The Pinzolo ski area offers a wide choice of perfectly groomed slopes. With 30 km of runs of varying difficulty, it appeals to both beginners and advanced skiers.
The ski lifts, including the new 10-seater Pra’ Rodont–Doss del Sabion gondola, connect the town centre to the summit of Doss del Sabion in just a few minutes, where visitors are rewarded with a stunning panoramic view.

Surrounded by the Brenta Dolomites, the Adamello and Presanella mountain groups, the Pinzolo–Doss del Sabion ski area offers breathtaking scenery. Doss del Sabion, at 2,100 metres above sea level, is the highlight of this extraordinary alpine panorama, considered among the most beautiful in the Alps.
Modern facilities ensure impeccably prepared slopes for skiers of all levels, with expert skiers particularly appreciating the “Tulot” run and the two DoloMitica slopes, “Star” and “Tour”.

In addition, the panoramic Pinzolo–Campiglio Express cable car connects Pinzolo to Madonna di Campiglio in just 16 minutes, allowing skiers to enjoy a single, vast ski area linking Pinzolo, Madonna di Campiglio and Folgarida–Marilleva.

The benefits of skiing

Skiing is a complete sport, where endurance is just as important as balance and strong, well-trained legs. Physically demanding, it also offers incredible sensations of freedom and speed. Skiing requires concentration and coordination.
A day on the slopes alternates between intense activity and moments of relaxation, with the body constantly adapting to altitude, reduced oxygen levels and changing environmental conditions. Skiing helps increase resistance to fatigue, supports cardiovascular health and is an excellent workout for muscle strengthening.

In addition to strengthening muscles, skiing also works the joints — knees, ankles, shoulders and elbows — keeping them toned and flexible. It improves balance and coordination of movement. While skiing, you breathe deeply and relax, stimulating the production of endorphins, the body’s natural “feel-good” hormones.
