Vision

The values on which our life is based

There is a lot of talk about sustainability in a world full of contradictions. What to do?

It is certain that human beings must do a lot of work on thought and expand their state of consciousness through appropriate knowledge. A new world must in fact manifest itself first of all in the minds of men as intelligence and wisdom, then enter the heart as sensation, as love, to finally descend to the material plane as abundance and peace. The true creator is the man of thought because it is in thought that things are created…

In our small way we try to transmit the simple values on which our life and the lives of many guests who come to spend their holidays with us are based; we offer friendship, kindness and genuineness, love and passion, art and ethical conscience.

We promote many initiatives to reduce environmental impact. Some concrete examples: we heat with two pellet boilers; in the common rooms the heating is supported by two tile stoves; we produce part of the electricity with photovoltaic panels; the remaining energy comes 100% from renewable sources; we use LED light bulbs; we provide for the separate collection of waste, avoiding it as much as possible; we use flow reducers for water; part of the cleaning detergents is ecological.

And above all, we support low-impact agriculture such as organic because we want to be aware consumers and hoteliers and participants in the food chain organized around quality and health.

Park Quality

The Adamello Brenta Nature Park, also thanks to its environmental management system certified according to UNI EN ISO 14001, has always been committed to the development of initiatives aimed at raising awareness and increasing environmental culture.

Precisely as part of this sustainable development strategy, the “QualitàParco” project was born. The objective is to reward accommodation-tourism and agri-food companies that demonstrate that they meet specific criteria of environmental protection and connection with the territory and, consequently, adhere to the culture of the Park.

Environmental aspects, of a technical-legislative nature, are related to individual environmental matrices, namely: discharges, waste, atmospheric emissions, water resources, hazardous product management, and energy management.

Management aspects, on the other hand, define the requirements concerning the strategic objectives of the company, the way of managing human resources, the way of purchasing in different areas, and the enhancement of the characters of typicality and genuineness that characterize the territorial scope.

European Charter for Sustainable Tourism

The European Charter for Sustainable Tourism reflects the global and European priorities expressed and adopted during the Earth Summit in Rio in 1992 and by the 6th Community Programme of Action for Sustainable Development.

The Charter, developed by the EUROPARC Federation (the European Federation bringing together more than 400 protected areas), is a voluntary instrument between a park’s management body, tourism businesses, and local people for the development of tourism in harmony with the sustainable management of the protected area’s natural resources. It is a combination of an intensive cooperation and participatory planning process and a management and control system aimed at continuous improvement.

The Cets represented the first important opportunity for parks to discuss (both at the local level cha between protected areas) issues, such as sustainable tourism, that go beyond conservation and environmental protection, moving from a concept of passive protection of their territory to a broader and more extensive concept of “active conservation,” which sees parks, together with other actors in the area, as “engines” of sustainable development. Protected areas thus become “laboratories of good practices” related to sustainability, becoming the ideal places in which to experiment with innovative projects.

Trentino Fair Economy - Responsible Tourism

“Solidarity economy” means the performance of economic and cultural activity that allows the achievement of objectives of collective interest higher than the thresholds set by current legislation; this mode is based on the enhancement of relations between subjects, fair distribution of resources, respect for and protection of the environment, and the pursuit of social objectives.

Solidarity economy activities are aimed at the creation and growth of initiatives operating according to the principles of cooperation, reciprocity, responsible subsidiarity, sustainability and energy-environmental compatibility, aimed at the production and exchange of goods and services.

Trentino eco-restoration

The Autonomous Province of Trento has initiated a working table with the main trade associations operating in the catering sector, with the aim of activating an environmental sustainability project for Trentino catering, called “Ecoristorazione Trentino”. The project aims to reduce the environmental impact, i.e. air and water pollution, energy and water consumption, and waste production, related to the catering service and its supply chain. Here are the areas into which the specification has been divided:

Food and beverages: priority to organic, local, fair-trade products
Waste: priority to reduction
Energy and water: priority to energy and water conservation
Non-food purchases: priority to green products
Information, communication, environmental education: for customer involvement in good environmental practices

Trentinerbe

It all started with our small vegetable garden and our passion for medicinal and aromatic plants, which we use fresh or dried for our herbal teas and dishes.

We grow naturally without the use of chemicals and let nature do its work. The brand came after taking a course out of pure passion! And there you have it! From hoteliers to certified growers!

A few things, but made with passion and from which cosmetic products were born: soapsuds with chamomile, calendula, wormwood, lavender; peppermint shower gel, nettle shampoo, and lemon balm and who knows what else in the future!
